VIP Primary Care Associates and VIP CARE was founded in September 2000 by Dr. Robert Briskin, Board-Certified in Internal Medicine and Quality Assurance, and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He is a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers and the Florida State Guardianship Association. He has practiced locally, serving patients from Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, North Palm Beach, Juno Beach, Hobe Sound, Tequesta and all surrounding areas, for over 30 years and has served on local, state, and national health care committees.

Dr. Robert Briskin
Dr. Briskin is a Concierge Internist who has practiced in Palm Beach County since 1984 and has been on staff at Jupiter Medical Center since 1986. He is an accomplished physician, Board-Certified in Internal Medicine, and became a Fellow of the American College of Physicians in 1996. He founded the first Concierge-Style medical practice in Palm Beach County in the year 2000 and has served on the Nationwide Board of the American Association of Private Physicians, the organization representing independent Concierge Physicians nationwide. He has lectured to the American Public Health Association at their annual meeting in 1996 concerning Patient Provider Partnership and has served on local, state, and national healthcare committees.
He was been published by the American College of Physician Executives in a book concerning “Practical Politics”, to demonstrate effective legislative action to promote healthcare reform for the benefit of patients everywhere. A committed Patient Advocate, he has always “gone the extra mile” for patients and has worked synergistically with Geriatric Care Managers, Patient Advocates, Eldercare Attorneys, Guardians, nurses, and families as a unique “Care Management Team” for the benefit of very complex patients.
He founded VIP Primary Care Associates as noted above in the year 2000, to enable patients to spend more time with him and to provide unparalleled availability, access and a very high level of clinical care to his patients, who he considers “like family”. He has set his target number of patients to only 400 patients in order to provide them with the highest level of care.
His unique approach to medical care provides for same day visits, specialist referral facilitation, out of state medical referrals, scheduling of diagnostic tests, hospitalization services and expedited care, availability for housecalls, after hours consultations, true 24/7 direct cell phone access to the doctor, and availability for a la carte Medical Crisis Intervention Services. He will also see family members visiting from out of town on a courtesy basis.
